  • Cvs Export From Events List Error Message In Excel For Mac
    카테고리 없음 2020. 3. 22. 20:33

Can anyone please guide me to solve this issue. I created a custom list in SharePoint 2013 site. When I click Export To Excel icon in the ribbon using Firefox and Chrome I get the below error message. 'To export a list, you must have a Microsoft SharePoint Foundation-compatible application.' I have Office 2010 SP2 64-bit installed.

In IE 8 32-bit I am able to download the.iqy file, open the file in Excel and able to view the list content. But in Firefox and Chrome I am unable to download the.iqy file.

I already followed below links to solve the issue but still it exists. 1. microsoft-sharepoint-foundation-compatible-application-quot.aspx 2. 3. Thanks in advance. Hi Avinash, According to your description, my understanding is that the error occurred when you exported the list to excel using Firefox and Chrome. To export list to excel, the SpreadSheetLauncher Active X control is needed to verify whether Excel is installed for Export to Excel feature and it is only supported in Internet Explorer versions 8, 9, and 10, so we cannot use Firefox or Chrome to export list to excel. More reference(check ActiveX controls part): Best regards. Thanks Victoria Xia TechNet Community Support.

Searching this error message easily finds the root of the problem. There is a problem with the Office 64 bit version. It doesn’t work with SharePoint. These solutions generally tell you to uninstall your 64 bit office and install a 32 bit version. Happily there is a much easier solution. Despite the error message the export actually works!

Notice the yellow bar at the bottom of your browser. Simply save the.iqy file normally and open it with Excel. It’s that simple. The error message is certainly a nuisance but does not actually stop the export. The OWSSUPP.DLL is installed as part of the “Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Support” category under Office Tools. To resolve this issue you should disable Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Support in any other version of Office installed on the machine and then repair Office.

If on a computer with Office 2010 and Lync 2013 you installed “Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Support” for both versions (Lync 2013 is part of the Office 2013 suite), you should disable “Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Support” for Lync 2013 and then repair Office 2010 so that the OWSSUPP.DLL gets registered. To uninstall “Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Support” for all non-Office 2010 components: If this helped you resolve your issue, please mark it Answered. Hi Victoria, I hate to disagree with you but I can use Firefox to export to Excel from SharePoint 2013 without any issues. Yes, I receive this message: 'To export a list, you must have a Microsoft SharePoint Foundation-compatible application' but I click OK and then see a further message stating that I've chosen to open owssvr.dll and Firefox asks what it should do with the file. I select Open with Microsoft Excel. I receive one final message regarding security concerns (from within Excel) to which I click Enable.

Then the file opens perfectly in Firefox. I do believe that there are issues with Chrome however.

An open standard file format originally introduced in 1998, iCal stores calendar information in a format that's easily shared between applications, both calendar and apps such as Microsoft Excel. The major calendar applications support iCal's ICS file format, including Microsoft Outlook for Office 365, Apple Calendar, Yahoo Calendar and Google Calendar. In addition, the online hospitality industry makes use of the iCal format to import reservations easily. Companies such as AirBnB use iCal, which enables their clients to export data about their bookings. Exporting iCal data for use in Excel permits you to backup your calendar data with greater flexibility. The export process also makes it easy to share calendar data between calendar applications.

For example, here is how to convert a Google calendar to Excel. Export a Google Calendar to Excel Google Calendar is typical of most calendar applications, so exporting iCal data uses similar steps as those done in most applications. There are, however, a few limitations. For instance, Google Calendar permits you to add calendars from other sources, adding them to the calendar you are viewing, but you can only export data from those listed under My Calendars, located on the left side of the screen.

Also, you can only export from the Google Calendar browser format. Google calendar apps can't export data.

The first step to convert a Google Calendar to Excel requires an export of iCal data from your calendar. To export data from all of your calendars:. Open Google Calendar in a web browser, such as Google Chrome or Apple Safari. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner and select Settings. Click Import & Export under General on the left side of your screen.

Click Export on the left side of the screen, then Export on the center part of the screen, to the right of the Export box. Locate your iCal data download. With multiple calendars, this will be ICS files within a ZIP format. Unzip this file to access the individual ICS files. To export data from a single calendar:.

Open Google Calendar in a web browser, such as Google Chrome or Apple Safari. Hover over the calendar you wish to export and click the options icon to the right.

Click Settings & Sharing. In the Calendar Settings box, click Export Calendar. Locate your iCal data download. With single calendars, this may be in ICS or ZIP file format. Unzip the file if necessary to access the ICS file. Transfer a Google Calendar to Excel.

Open Microsoft Excel for Office 365. Older versions of Excel work in a similar way, but individual steps may be different. Select Open Other Workbooks at the bottom left. Select Browse and navigate to the folder with the unzipped ICS file for your calendar. Click All Excel Files in the bottom right and select All Files. Select the ICS calendar file and click Open. Click the Delimited button from the Text Import Wizard dialog box and click Next.

Deselect the Tab radio button and click Other. Enter a colon in the box and click Finish. Your calendar data is now displayed in two columns in Excel.
